Student group provides support for teen parents at Patterson

Nearly one third of teen girls who have dropped out of high school did so because of pregnancy or parenthood; and only 40% of teen moms graduate from high school, according to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy.

Should students be able to wear whatever they want?

As students, we are supposed to wear uniforms, but its not mandatory as long as your clothes are not showing too much skin. In my opinion, wearing uniforms is not always a bad thing. I kind of like to wear uniforms because I don’t really have to take time to find what to wear.

Varsity football team struggles against Towson

The Patterson Clippers varsity football team played against the Towson Wildcats on september 8th, 2017. when the game was over, the Clippers suffered a heavy loss. The score was 6 to 35.

Depression affects many teenagers

Varsity boy’s soccer team defeats Forest Park 10-1

The varsity boys soccer team defeated Forest Park 10-1 on October 17,2017 at Patterson. This put the boys in a good spot for the playoffs.

7th annual school fair brings people together

The 7th annual Patterson back to school night and community fair had a lot to offer on the 28th of September. Patterson High had a back to school fair where parents, staff and students could come together and mingle, and where alumni could visit and feel a sense of pride to see how their school has grown.
