Varsity boy’s soccer team defeats Forest Park 10-1

The varsity boys soccer team defeated Forest Park 10-1 on October 17,2017 at Patterson. This put the boys in a good spot for the playoffs.

“We played well as a team. Lots of players were able to score goals because of our unselfish play”, said Coach Callahan.

The varsity boys soccer team defeated Forest Park 10-1 on October 17,2017 at Patterson. This put the boys in a good spot for the playoffs.

“We played well as a team. Lots of players were able to score goals because of our unselfish play”, said Coach Callahan.

During the game, the leading scorer, Patrick Rukundo, scored the first goal. No. 8 Herberth Gomez scored 1 goal in the first half and 2 goals in the second half, claiming his hat trick of the match. Hertier Baziyma scored 2 goal. No. 5 Walter Toledo scored 2 goals, No. 1 Boniface Mbangila scored 1 goal, and No. 11 Kevin Galdamez scored 1 goal at the end. Patterson claimed victory against Forest Park 10-1.

The first round of playoffs was against Cross-land, where the Clippers won in penalties 5-4, after a score of 1-1. Go Clippers!
