Full factory testing means every unit is verified before shipment rather than a sample from each batch. Serialisation means a failure can be traced to its production and test history.

Range Is a Practical Consideration
Plants rarely need one actuator type. Pneumatic units for fast fail-safe duty, electric units for modulating control, and accessories such as positioners, limit switches, and solenoid valves all have to work together and arrive on compatible lead times.
A supplier covering the full chain removes a category of integration problems that otherwise surface during commissioning.
Support After Commissioning
Equipment lives for years. Spares availability, technical support, and continuity of the product line matter more over that period than a small difference in initial price.
Ask how long the current model has been in production and how long spares will remain available. Vague answers are a reasonable basis for caution.
Judging Total Cost Properly
The cheapest quotation is frequently the most expensive outcome once unplanned downtime, expedited replacements, and engineering time are counted. Judge on total cost of ownership across the expected service life.
